ArtWise Student Art Show Exhibit Showcases K-12 Artwork at Columbia Mall
ArtWise is pleased to present our Student Art Show at Columbia Mall in April. The Art Show will be exhibited from April 8-April 21. The Art Show features from participating elementary schools and classes in the Grand Forks Public Schools, Central Valley School district, Sacred Heart, St. Michaels, Holy Family, and home schools. The art show will have work from elementary, middle school and high school levels. All schools in Grand Forks County and East Grand Forks were invited. There will be many art forms exhibited including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and chalk. More than 4,000 artworks will be exhibited in gallery spaces throughout the Columbia Mall. Each gallery will have a listing of where schools have their exhibits. The artwork can be viewed during the mall hours of 10:00-7:00.
The art show is at the Columbia Mall, with family activities scheduled on the weekend of April 12 from 4:00-7:00 and April 13 and April 14 from noon-5:00. The art activity weekend will feature many make’n’take activities, demonstrations from local arts organizations, the Grand Forks Public Library and the GF Children’s Museum, and Brainy Ink.
“We are excited to showcase K-12 artwork at Columbia Mall. This event gives children and youth the chance to see their artwork on display with many others their age. We are so proud of the young artists, and we look forward to celebrating the artwork with their family and friends at the Student Art Show”, said Rita Haag, Director of ArtWise.
