East Grand Forks Senior High present Disney's Frozen

  • East Grand Forks Senior High Performing Arts Center 1420 4th Avenue Northwest East Grand Forks, MN, 56721 United States (map)

The students of East Grand Forks Senior High School are proud to present their fall musical, Disney’s Frozen. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, this show includes all of the film’s beloved songs, along with new music written exclusively for the stage.

In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets off on an epci journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hard-working ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf. Full of magic, humor, and a stunning musical score, Frozen is a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and finding the real meaning of true love.

Performances will run Friday and Saturday, November 21 and 22 at 7:00 p.m. and will conclude with a matinee on Sunday, November 23 at 2:00 p.m. Reserved seating is going fast, with tickets available online at egf.ludus.com. Any remaining tickets will be available at the door beginning 30 minutes prior to the event. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students.

This activity is made possible in part by a grant provided by the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council with funds appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature from its general fund.
