For Artists

There are several opportunities for participation in our events and programs.

  • ArtFest will celebrate its 21st anniversary in 2022 and offers Artists an opportunity to showcase their artwork, musical and literary talents. (Registration fees apply for visual artists.)

  • Art and Wine Walk and Art Crawl both allow visual artists to display their most recent artworks and musical artists an opportunity to perform as well.

  • Our galleries at Altru South and Alerus Center allow visual artists to showcase and offer artwork for sale alongside galleries filled with regional artists.

  • The Mayor’s Choice Gallery located at Grand Forks City Hall gives an artist, if selected by the Mayor, an opportunity to display their work prominently next to the Mayor’s office.

  • 42nd Street Arts, Eats, n Beats held annually in the fall features a pop up art show and sale. Our effort to feature another area of our community.

  • PAC Marketplace, our newest offering, a virtual gallery for our visual artists to promote and offer for sale their artwork online while incorporating our various galleries.

  • Coming Soon! The PAC and local businesses cooperate to showcase local artists artwork on a rotating basis throughout the Greater Grand Forks.

W-9 Application form

Please bring your artwork to the Grand Forks Chamber or agreed on location. Artwork will be placed on the Marketplace when all items are completed and the artwork is in our possession.

The point with public art, I think, is that it helps people form a sense that the place they live in is unique, that there’s something special about it.
